Will Warne, Regional Lead for the South West

Following its transformation from the Further Mathematics Support Programme (FMSP), the Advanced Mathematics Support Programme (AMSP) turned 1 year old on 1st May 2019. We have worked with well over 5,000 teachers nationally during the year, as well as a staggering number of enrichment events and student support.

In the South West, we continue to work hard to develop capacity for all Level 3 pathways. We are working with some of the biggest and most established providers in the region, right down to advising new sixth forms on curriculum and potential courses.

There are a number of professional development days post-exams and prior to the summer holidays which we would encourage you attend. These include our Core Maths Conference in Bristol on 17th June and our Raising Confidence with Technology course for Higher GCSE teaching in Crewkerne on 12th July. Check the full events listing for more details.
