Norfolk post-16 Teacher Network

Norfolk post-16 Teacher Network Meeting

The Norfolk Post-16 Maths Teacher Network is an AMSP-funded project allowing teachers of maths to meet, to collaborate and to share professional development. We meet regularly. The programme is a mixture of informal sessions and speaker-led training events.

This teachers network is open to all teachers from any school in any borough and the meeting will be formed of three sections.

A brief discussion on the GCE results.

Kerry Dunton has kindly offered give us an update us on her mapping reasearch.

Sharing Great Resources

The main focus is year 13 topics that you have used this term or early next. If you have adapted any of these to support lower ability students, this was raised as a request last time round. Be prepared to talk for a few minutes about the resource. Please bring around ten copies and, if possible, send me an electronic copy so that I can share. You provide one activity and walk away with many more. What's not to like!

Problem Solving

We will look at some resources and write a few more.

Please complete the booking form (link on the right)

This helps us to organise enough refreshments.

There is also a question on the form about which qualifications/exam board your school teaches.  The results will be displayed so that you have a better idea of which teachers you may wish to talk to from other schools.

Is the school near public transport? Is there parking available?

Yes and Yes!
